I’m not much for trading records. I always prefer a straight forward monetary transaction but there are times that you just have to step outside your comfort zone when in pursuit of that elusive bit of vinyl. I’ve been keeping an eye out for the French compilation, Nilsson 3 for a while, but could never find anyone wiling to sell.
Then someone in the Harry Nilsson Group on Facebook (hi Philippe !) mentioned he had a spare and would be willing to trade. I did something most collectors never do – I traded my only copy of something that had been equally difficult to track down but sometimes you just have to toss the dice. Hopefully what I traded will find its way back to me some day. For now though I’m very happy to add Nilsson 3 to the collection and share with you all here.
